Braille G30 Battery Hold-Down for Group 65 Mounts – Crown Victoria, Grand Marquis, Marauder, Town Car

Run a lightweight Braille G30 battery in place of a BCI Group 65, using the factory battery tray and hold-down. This bracket straps over the G30 and down to a wide foot that matches the footprint of a Group 65 battery where the hold-down clamps. The OEM clamp grabs the foot, the foot holds the battery, and you don't need a custom box, drilling, or zip ties. The bracket itself weighs just 7 oz, so it doesn't add back the weight you saved by switching to a lithium battery.

It was developed on the Panther platform (Crown Victoria, Grand Marquis, Marauder, and Town Car), where it fits the factory hold-down perfectly. Nothing about it is specific to those cars, so it will work with many other Group 65 mounts too. Hold-down designs vary, though, so check yours before you order (see Fitment).

• Other vehicles with a Group 65 battery tray: it may fit if the hold-down clamps the battery at its base. Hold-downs that clamp across the top of the battery won't work. Not sure? Email us before ordering.
