ASG14 Torque Rod - Camry / ES300 / Avalon / Solara V6

The factory front transmission mount on these V6 Toyota and Lexus models is a fluid-filled hydraulic damper designed for ride comfort, not control. Once it wears — and most are decades past that point — the transaxle is free to rock forward under load. The result is drivetrain slop, clunking on throttle transitions, and wheel hop on hard launches.

The ASG14 Torque Rod is a direct replacement for that stock damper. A rigid rod on polyurethane bushings replaces the compliant hydraulic unit, locating the front of the transaxle and keeping engine movement in check. Power gets put to the ground instead of rocking the drivetrain in the subframe. Bolts to the factory mounting points using stock hardware — no drilling, cutting, or subframe modification.

Expect a small increase in drivetrain noise and vibration at idle. Polyurethane keeps this well short of what a solid or delrin mount would transmit, and most drivers stop noticing it within a few days.
